Alerting services

Most publishers provide a Journal Contents Alerting Service. This can be either an email alerting service or RSS feed. The services below provide content alerts from several publishers, but if you know of a publisher which publishes in your subject area (e.g. Taylor and Francis for Education) you may want to set up an alert for that publisher.

Access to Research in public libraries

Access to Research is an initiative which makes over 1.5 million academic articles available, free of charge, in Derby City and other public libraries in the UK. You have to visit the library and be a member to search the database of articles. You will be able to read selected articles from a journal but please be aware you may not be able to access the full archive of a journal. Find out more at http://www.accesstoresearch.org.uk/
