I am the Academic Librarian for the College of Health, Psychology, and Social Care covering programmes delivered at Kedleston Road, our Chesterfield site and through distance learning.
You should get to meet me through any library workshops that your lecturer organises with me and, depending on the situation, these can take place online or in a classroom setting.
What do I do?
I can help you to make full use of the Library's resources, including:
• Finding information for an assignment
• Researching your final year project / thesis
• Using our databases
• Citing and referencing
• Using a reference management tool
• Post-graduate research
• Literature reviews and Systematic Reviews
You do need to use the workshops we offer through the Develop@Derby service as a lot of your questions can be answered there and there are a lot of pre-prepared resources available which you can access through your library subject guide.
If you have any other queries please get in touch with the Library by using the Live Chat feature, emailing library@derby.ac.uk or telephoning (01332) 59 1215
