Endnote have a really useful LibGuide on using both the desktop and web based versions of Endnote which can be found here.

Accessing EndNote

To access EndNote using a computer on campus, follow the instructions below:

Staff

  • University managed Windows PC - go to Software Center on your PC (it has a USA spelling), search for EndNote and install 
  • University managed Macs - go to ‘Self Service’, search for EndNote and install

Students

All computers in the libraries and computer labs have Endnote installed directly.

To access EndNote using personal devices:

EndNote20 is also now available for installation on personal devices. You can find the installer under the ‘Software’ tab on Course Resources.

Please be aware that you will not have access to EndNote once you have graduated, so you will need to ensure that you export your references to one of the free reference management programs if you want to continue to use the references that you have gathered.
