Structure and Flow

What are structure and flow?

Structure is the way that you organise your work, for example the order that you write things in.  In this guide you'll find information about the structure of a complete essay, as well as information about the structure of a paragraph.  Flow is the way that your work reads, for example how well one paragraph leads on to the next.

Why do I need to learn about them?

Structure and flow both influence how easy your assignment is to read, and how easy it is to understand the points that you are making.  Having a good structure to your arguments and a good flow from one point to the next will help the reader to understand what you are saying.

How do I learn about them?
