But there are loads of books in the library that help you to write CVs, applications, and help you to improve your interview skills. There are also books to help you to decide what kind of job you would like after you leave College!

It's important to keep up to date with IT skills, as you will need them at College and in the workplace.

When you write an assignment, you need to give the details of where your information came from. You should credit the author or creator of what you are referring to. Otherwise, your tutor could think you have made it up! It's a good idea to get into the habit of doing this from Level 2.

From Level 3 you will be expected to reference your work using the Harvard referencing style. However, always check with your tutor to find out exactly how they want you to reference.

It sounds complicated, but Cite Them Right shows you exactly how to do this. There's a book version on the shelf in each library and also an online version which you can find here (it's linked below too). You will need to log in to access the online version.
