When you write an assignment, you need to give the details of where your information came from. You should credit the author or creator of what you are referring to. Otherwise, your tutor could think you have made it up! It's a good idea to get into the habit of doing this from Level 2.
From Level 3 you will be expected to reference your work using the Harvard referencing style. However, always check with your tutor to find out exactly how they want you to reference.
