The Library runs a programme of workshops, drop-ins and clinics throughout the academic year, called Develop@Derby. These workshops cover topics such as: library research, citing and referencing, maths skills, exam revision, report writing, presentation skills, note taking, using Google more effectively, and more!
You can take a look at the Develop@Derby calendar here to see details of upcoming events. Some events are free to just drop-in, others may require booking.
If you cannot attend a workshop due to timing, please register anyway. We record all workshops (not clinics or drop-ins) and email a link to the recording to everyone who registered, so even if you cannot attend you will still have access to the recording.
We have a Study Skills team who can help with a range of academic skills, from planning and structuring essays, to revision and note-taking skills, interpreting feedback and citing and referencing.
