Blackboard Assignments

Your tutor may ask you to submit an assignment using the Blackboard Assignments. It is most commonly used to upload documents.

The University’s Anonymous Marking policy states that, unless otherwise told by your tutor, you should only include your Student ID number on any submission you make in Blackboard Assignments.

This document only covers procedures for the web version of Blackboard and not the Blackboard App. It covers the standard submission procedure. Your tutor may have changed some of the settings, and so you may encounter different options. If you have any questions, please ask your tutor.

How to find your Blackboard assignment

In general, assignment submissions for written work should be located on Blackboard, in your module, in the Assessment area.

1. Login to Blackboard and navigate to your module.

2. Find the submission point. This should be in the Assessment area.
