Review your Report

Now you have completed the Jisc Digital Capabilities Discovery Tool, there are a few steps as to what to do next:

• Take some time to read through your report and review your strengths alongside any areas for improvement. 

• Save your report so that you can refer back to it later as you develop your skills at your own pace. This way you can track your progress and even retake the Discovery Tool later to keep a record of your own development.

• Remember! Everyone has different and unique digital experiences and there is no right or wrong when it comes to your results. You can choose which areas and skills you want to develop for yourself, depending on your personal goals.

About Your Digital Capabilities Report

Your report will be split into 6 different sections:

• Digital proficiency and productivity.
• Information, data and media literacies.
• Digital creation, problem-solving and innovation.
• Digital communication, collaboration and participation.
• Digital learning and development.
• Digital identity and wellbeing.

In your report, you'll see the outcomes of your self-assessment on each section and a visual representation of your overall digital capabilities so that you can identify the areas you'd like to work on.

In the next section, Plan your Digital Skills Development you’ll be directed to resources relating to each of the six digital capabilities.
