Introduction to Library and Skills Resources

Each college has at least one academic librarian looking after the students and staff within it. They create and update college department guides that contain useful and relevant information for different stages of your study.

You can find your Subject Guides here; just look for the broad subject area and then click to find your subject specific guide.

The Academic Librarian team develop and deliver some of the Develop@Derby online workshops and also deliver online  Database Focus sessions which look at databases which are specifically useful for your subject area and these can range from introductory sessions up to advanced or expert.

You can find full details of all the workshops on the calendar.

Have a look at the Welcome to Your University Library page to find out more.
