Learners are able to use numbers and mathematical concepts with confidence and apply financial skills to their work and everyday life.  

Learners who excel in ‘Numeracy, Statistics & Financial Literacy’ skills build confidence in working with numbers and understanding relationships between them. They develop practical skills for arithmetic, decimals, fractions, and proportional reasoning. These learners also apply concepts like percentages, ratios, and (where appropriate) exponents in approachable ways to solve real-world problems. With a grasp of statistics, they can make sense of data, identify trends, and calculate probabilities. These learners also use basic algebra and measurement skills for tasks like reading graphs or converting currencies. Additionally, they can cultivate financial management abilities, from budgeting and saving to understanding taxes, pensions, and investments, equipping them for everyday life and future planning.
