Sign in and Install Microsoft 365 apps

Microsoft 365 can be accessed entirely within your internet browser.  As well, you can install the full and latest versions of the Office apps to on your Windows or mac OS device - for FREE.  

To get started, go to Office.com directly, or visit the Microsoft 365 tile in UDo and sign in.

Enter your username [studentnumber]@unimail.derby.ac.uk and your usual Uni password.  

Tablet or smartphone?  Head to your device's app store to get all the Microsoft 365 apps to stay connected on the move.

Why Learn to use Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 and Windows are used by individuals and businesses across the globe.  Many of the tools you might learn to use to assist with your studies will also provide you with valuable skills that you can go on to use in the workplace.

Microsoft 365 programs can help you to perform many tasks quickly and easily, for example:

The University of Derby is a Microsoft university and 365 gives us a platform that we can all use to collaborate.  Not all organisations and workplaces use Microsoft 365, however other companies may subscribe to comparable digital toolkits such as Apple or Google, and the digital skills you learn while using Microsoft tools will be transferrable.
