Leadership and Future Thinking

Career planning

To move towards our future selves, we must act and do something different. By reflecting on past experiences and decisions using reflective models, (e.g. Gibbs, 1988; Kolb, 2015) we can identify what we want to keep on doing and what we need to change. This could be behaviours, approaches, knowledge or skills so we don’t get more of the same but get nearer to the outcome we’ve identified.
