Develop@Derby guides

Develop@Derby acts as a first port of call and one-stop shop for building personal skills that help with university studies and beyond. It provides resources from around the University, including wellbeing and careers, to help students learn new skills or develop exisiting ones. The Develop@Derby guides can be accessed from the Library web page as shown in the image below:


You can use the drop-down menu beneath Support OR use the Develop@Derby drop-down from the top menu bar.

Within each themed section you will find several guides on specific topics; some may be interactive modules linked to the Bloomsbury Skills for Study resource whilst others are broader guides including: 

  • Tips and general advice,  

  • Information and links to book-based resources held in the Library,  

  • Links to audio and video files created by our in-house team and hosted on YouTube and other podcasting websites, 

  • Links to external resources of relevance to the topic. 

  • Links to information provided by other University services.
