Viewing Grades and Feedback

To View your score for a Blackboard Ultra Assignment, go to your Blackboard module and click on Gradebook.

Here you will see a list of all the scorable items in the Module.

The number in the circle is the number of items with feedback that you have not yet viewed.

The rows with a purple dot at the beginning are the items with feedback that you have not yet viewed.

Please note that some items may include tasks you haven’t submitted, formative assignments, or submission points designated for students with extensions, which you may not be required to complete.

Locate the specific item you wish to view feedback for. If the grades have been released, your score will be visible there.

To view the assignment info, click on the Score box item and a menu will appear on the right. In the right-hand menu, there will be a marking section, your score will appear here as well. Click on the Your Mark box to open the feedback. Alternatively Click the View button to take you straight to your full feedback.

If you made more than one attempt at a submission you can select previous attempts from the dropdown box next to the score. Normally only the last submission made will be marked.

Blackboard Assignment feedback

Inline feedback takes the form of annotation over the top of your submitted documents. You can click on the comment boxes to highlight the linked comment.

The main text feedback can be found in the menu right-hand. This may include linked documents, audio or video feedback.

A rubric may also be used. This can also be found in the right menu.

You will see your score for each criterion of the rubric here.

There may be additional text feedback linked to each of the criterion. If there is a speech box in a criterion it indicates that your tutor has left additional text feedback for that criterion.
