The coverage for MA theses in the United Kingdom is not as strong as it could be, but you can certainly apply what you see to a UK context—in terms of how to structure a dissertation etc.. Indeed, you can even build upon and comment upon existing dissertations in your own work—just remember to include an appropriate citation and reference if you do!

You can access it from the Databases list on the Library homepage. Just search under 'P', and you will find it. Alternatively, you can follow the highlighted link here.
How does it relate to Library Search?
ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global does provide its content to Library Search. This means that if you search Library Search, then you should 'theoretically' be searching ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global (Resource Type >> Dissertations). But, I would advise searching ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global separately, too, as you will have greater control of the search functionality.
