I’m Holly the Repository and Open Access Librarian. It is my job to manage, promote and develop our Institutional Repository, UDORA. As a service, UDORA aims to support sharing and dissemination of scholarly outputs of all members of staff and students at Derby and will support you in communicating your research with as wide an audience as possible.
I provide advice and guidance on the Open Research and Scholarly Communications landscape with a particular focus on Open Access and I monitor compliance with the Open Access requirements for external funding organisations. I can advise on how to ensure you meet your obligations when it comes to Open Access mandates, both internally and externally.
I deliver training on how to use UDORA and can offer a range of sessions on various aspects of scholarly communications from Open Access to increasing your online visibility as a researcher etc. I can deliver 1-1 or group sessions, so please get in touch should you wish to arrange something with me and I will be more than happy to accommodate! I also deliver online sessions on a rolling basis which are available to register for via LibCal and the University of Derby Research System.
