Hi there, I am Holly the Repository and Open Access Librarian. It is my job to manage, promote and develop our Institutional Repository, UDORA. I also facilitate the submission and deposit of our authors, researchers, and academics research outputs; monitoring and reporting on deposits and downloads and any other usage indicators which then enables me to identify the impact and reach of UDORA. I also ensure that appropriate metadata standards are upheld maintaining the quality and discoverability of our records. One of my key roles is to monitor our compliance with the Open Access requirements for the Research Excellence Framework.

As a service, UDORA aims to support sharing and dissemination of scholarly outputs of all academic staff at Derby; essentially, to support you in communicating your research with as wide an audience as possible.

I can offer training on how to use UDORA and Open Access in the form of 1-1 or group sessions, so please get in touch should you wish to arrange something with me and I will be more than happy to accommodate!
