Reflection and Reflective Writing - Skills Guide

Introduction to PebblePad

What is PebblePad?

PebblePad is a versatile online learning and reflection platform available to students and staff at the University of Derby.

The e-portfolio has the concept of reflection at its core and it features a large range of templates to enable students to record and reflect on learning experiences, activities and much more.

Use the links in the 'Further Reading' box below to find out more about how PebblePad works and how to use it.

Why do I need to learn it?

PebblePad is used across many different courses for reflection and recording experiences and activities. There are many ways you can use PebblePad and the built-in resources provide a very useful structure for recording experiences and reflections.

Your PebblePad university account can be converted to an alumni account once you leave the University which means you can take a record of all of your experiences and reflections with you when you graduate. This can be particularly helpful for job interviews.
