Library Services during Covid-19

Your Libraries are open. We encourage everyone to continue wearing face masks in Library spaces.

The majority of the restrictions put in place are now lifted:

• You no longer need to book a seat or browsing slot
• There will be no need to quarantine returned or used stock
• The maximum amount of reservations you can make has increased again
• External visitors are allowed to visit again
 

Please note the seat booking numbers will remain in place on the desks for a while longer. This is so that, should it become necessary, the Library could return to a booking system quickly.

The Library will continue to align its practices with the University regarding the following:

• Face coverings encouraged but not enforced
• Hygiene facilities provided for individuals to clean spaces
• Screens will be retained on service desks
• The one-way navigation systems are removed
