Useful Websites

There are many useful resources and websites on the internet which you can find using Google or another search engine.

However there is also a lot of incorrect information and out of date pages on the internet and you should take responsibility for making sure you use reliable sources of information. This is called critical thinking!

Whenever you use a website think about the following:

  • When was it written? If it was not recently, you should find something newer.
  • Who wrote it (individual, organisation)? Are they an expert on this subject?
  • Why was it written?
  • Is it 'official' information e.g. from a Government website or a personal view?
  • What country did it come from?

To help you we have listed some key websites that you should be making use of to aid your study.
