My Dashboard: The new User Dashboard will replace Folders and Custom Folders in the new user interface. You can learn more about using the Dashboard in this EBSCO Connect guide.
My Folder: The following types of records saved in My Folders will automatically be taken across to the new user interface: Articles, Images, Videos, eBooks and Saved Searches. Saved Searches will be located under the Searches tab in the Saved section of the new dashboard. You will simply need to log into your account under the new dashboard using your usual MyEbsco Account username and password to access your content.
The following records saved in My Folders will not automatically be taken across to the new user interface: Companies, Webpages, Persistent Link to Searches, Notes, Pages, and Other content sources. Prior to 5 August, you are advised to take a note of them and re-create them manually in the new interface.
Custom Folders or Shared Folders: These will not be migrated automatically be taken across to the new user interface. In advance of switching on 5 August, you should move Custom folders or Shared Folders to My Folder Move Saved Searches from Custom Folders or they may be printed, emailed or exported to your own device Save and Export Items from your Custom Folders. Further information on Downloading MyEBSCO Custom folders is available here If you have created Custom Folders or have Saved Searches, please follow these instructions to access them in the new interface.
Other changes include: Alerts (search & publication) will not be synced. You will need to take a note of the journals or search terms used and recreate these in the new user interface.
