If the book or journal article you need to read is only available in a print format you can request a digitised copy via the Scan and Deliver service. You can find more information from the link below.
In Addition to the Scan and Deliver service, OCR scans of book chapters and journal articles can be made by our Content and Discovery team and added to online resource lists.
These will be fully accessible with screen readers and assistive software.
- If you are a student and need an accessible OCR scan of a book chapter or journal article, please ask your module leader to request this to be added to the relevant resource list.
- If you are a module leader please let the Content and Discovery team know of any material you may need scanning and adding to your online resource list. Please allow sufficient time for this to be done so that students have access to the materials at the start of each semester.
