Method One
1. Do a search on Library Plus.
2. From the list of results open the full record of a reference.
3. Click on Save to Mendeley in your favourites bar. In theory this should add the item to Mendeley, but all the details may not be carried forward.
4. When the pop-up screen appears, click on Open in Mendeley and add the missing details into the relevant space in the right hand column
Method Two
Alternatively you can export your results from Library Plus, then import them into Mendeley
1. Do a search on Library Plus
2. From the complete record of items, click on the Add to Folder icon. Do this for as many items as you want, jsut keep adding them to the folder.
3.Click on Export , keep the default Direct export in RIS format option and click on Save
4. In Mendeley, click on File and Import, then select RIS
5. Browse to the Download folder to find the file that you have saved
6. Double click on the file, and the contents will be added to Mendeley
Method Three
See the box below for more details about importing PDFs.
NB: If you upload multiple items you will have to 'de-couple' them once they've been added to Mendeley. You can do this with a single click.
1. Do a search for your subject on an EBSCO database (e.g. Art Full Text).
2. When you get the list of results, open the full record.
3. Click on Save to Mendeley in your favourites bar, and the reference will be saved into Mendeley with all bibliographic details, but not the attached PDF.
