How to Find your Lecture and Tutorials

When your lectures or tutorials are scheduled, they are booked into a suitable classroom. In your timetable and course pages on blackboard, you will find this information shortened into a ‘key’ such as ‘E101’. This ‘key’ is telling you where the lecture or tutorial is being held, highlighting the location, site, floor and room.

Reading a room key is simple:

  • The letters tell you the location and site (E = East Tower, Kedleston Road)
  • The first number tells you the floor (101 = Floor 1)
  • The following numbers tell you the room number (101 = Room 01)
