Presentations
Presentations are common form of assessment at university. They are a test of your ability to see how clearly you can communicate your knowledge.
Presentations can take many different formats. They can be short and informal or take on more formality when you are presenting research or business ideas. You may be asked to present individually or as part of a group.
When presenting ensure that you define any terms or acronyms because any ‘Unfamiliar jargon defined as spoken or written organisational discourse that is highly technical or specialised and understood only by group members but not others. can serve to exclude certain members of the audience and makes it difficult for them to understand the message or information that you are trying to get across.’ Crossman, J. (2023)
