It is a complementary resource to PsycArticles and PsycInfo and has particularly strong coverage of child and adolescent psychology, alongside a range of counselling areas.

This database has a unique subject heading thesaurus which is searchable alongside the standard abstract / title search. Using the thesaurus search is most useful when doing advanced searches for postgraduate and above research.
