Scopus

Scopus is a large interdisciplinary indexing and abstracting database offering comprehensive coverage of scientific research. It covers a wide range of topics associated with health sciences, life sciences, social sciences and physical sciences.

It provides a vast array of literature from 7000+ publishers including:

  • Over 23,452 peer-reviewed journals (including 5,500 full open access journals)
  • 294 trade publications
  • 335, 000 books
  • Over 9.8 million conference papers from over 120,000 worldwide events

Scopus is an indexing and abstracting database which means you will only get access to the article if the library has a separate subscription to the journal the article is published in or if it is published in an Open Access journal (see video guide for more information).
